Prologue

Whenever we feel being cheerful and confident, we’d better to beware of a devil’s appearance. When we heard a beautiful voice whilst going along a fair river, that sometimes can be Loreley who’s killing us.

That we have no worries and issues when we’re travelling to the destination where we call “our dream” shall be, a sign of that a devil is creeping by, to deprive all what being important and valuable for us.

Happiness and peace sometimes make us blind and usually let us be convinced that they’ll last forever. Whether being favourable or unpleasant everything in the world shall never be forever, although usually we misbelieve.

Therefore, if we have no distresses whilst our journeys now, all the ordeals shall visit afterwards with uniting into one enormous hazard. Ridiculing all the performances of our endeavours, it’ll pillage and destroy the whole of what irreplaceable for us.

And the tragedy that Hee-chan had survived before was obviously a typical one among such catastrophic fate. He used to be a railway geek who loved nothing more than trains; especially their sounds when they’re passing by him.

Then he dreamed to dedicate all his life to railways, as being a train crew who controls passenger trains; to be employed to a company operating a spur in his neighbourhood, whose trains he used to look at from his childhood playground.

After he graduated his middle school life, he enrolled into a railway college that had just started their educations. Transports, services, technologies, engineering and architectures, everything related to railways we can study there.

He applied to its transport driving service course, to be a controller who drives electrical train units, and started his wonderful college boy life, surrounded by various trains that he can drive on his practices.

He was so happy to be a candidate there and had become one of the best students who studied there. Even without much effort, he gained excellent marks, because it was his biggest pleasure to practise there.

After he’d become a candidate driver, everyone couldn’t but believe that he would be a fabulous crew. His technique and services were much better than perfect. And he also being his happiest in his whole life before.

However, he couldn’t be a railwayman after all, because of a deep sorrow that suddenly seized him. That made him impossible to continue studying there and deprived all his adorations and loves to railways.

What had happened upon him and changed his life was what occurred in a short moment like a lightning stroke him. However, he’d to been tormented for a long time since he encountered it, and even today he’s still suffering for his traumas of that.
