第9話 Kazumitsu and the World of “U”
1. The Descent Into the Hidden Universe
The doorway from the world of I
did not open outward.
It opened downward.
Kazumitsu stepped through
and felt the ground vanish beneath him.
He was falling—
not through space,
but through depth.
The air thickened.
Light dimmed.
Sound stretched into long, resonant echoes.
A single vibration surrounded him,
low and cavernous:
“U—”
It was not a sound he heard.
It was a sound he entered.
2. The Ocean Beneath All Worlds
Kazumitsu landed softly
on a surface that rippled like water
but held his weight like earth.
He realized he was standing
on the surface of a vast, dark ocean—
a sea without horizon,
reflecting nothing.
This was the world of U:
the subterranean universe,
the reservoir of everything unspoken,
unremembered,
unresolved.
A voice rose from the depths:
“All worlds have a surface.
This is what lies beneath.”
3. The Weight of Unseen Memories
Kazumitsu felt a pressure in the air—
not threatening,
but heavy,
like the gravity of forgotten memories.
Shapes moved beneath the dark water:
moments he had lived,
moments he had avoided,
moments he had never allowed himself to feel.
Each ripple carried a fragment of a life
he had once touched in another universe.
He whispered:
“These are my memories…
but not from this world.”
The ocean answered with a deeper vibration.
4. The Law of Descent
A column of darkness rose before him,
spiraling slowly like smoke underwater.
Inside it,
Kazumitsu saw the structure of the vowel U:
• a downward curve
• a gathering of energy
• a pull toward the center
• a return to the hidden
The voice spoke:
“U is the force of descent.
Where A expands and I rises,
U sinks.
It gathers what has been scattered.”
Kazumitsu felt the truth of it.
U was gravity—
not physical gravity,
but emotional gravity,
the pull of the unconscious.
5. The Mirror Beneath the Surface
The ocean stilled.
A perfect reflection formed beneath his feet.
But the reflection was not his face.
It was his shadow self—
the Kazumitsu who carried
every unspoken fear,
every abandoned possibility,
every memory he had refused to claim.
The shadow spoke:
“You cannot walk the universe
without walking yourself.”
Kazumitsu knelt,
touching the surface.
The reflection rippled,
but did not break.
He understood:
U was the world where the observer
meets the parts of himself
that do not rise with I
and do not expand with A.
6. The Descent Into the Heart
The ocean began to glow faintly,
as if lit from below.
A path of light appeared,
descending into the depths.
The voice whispered:
“To know the universe,
you must know your depth.
Walk downward.”
Kazumitsu stepped onto the glowing path.
The water closed above him,
but he did not drown.
He sank gently,
surrounded by memories
that were not memories,
lives that were not his
yet belonged to him.
At the bottom of the descent
was a single, pulsing sphere of darkness—
the heart of U.
7. The Gate to the Next World
The sphere opened,
revealing a soft, horizontal light.
This was the world of E—
the universe of relation,
connection,
and shared meaning.
The voice spoke one final time:
“You have learned to descend.
Now you must learn to reach outward.”
Kazumitsu stepped through the opening,
carrying the weight and wisdom of U
into the world of connection.
