A man crouched under the tree. His name is Alex DeLarge.
He has a wife named Mia Wallace and a child named Lebowski.
He loves his family like his mother’s handmade pancakes.
Alex starts his everyday hobby.
“1, 2, 3…”
He begins squashing insects with his finger.
The insects have no way to survive, like newborn babies.
“11, 12, 13…”
Now his fingers are very wet and sticky.
He feels bad for his fingers.
“Alex DeLarge, what a coincidence.”
Alex looked up.
There was a pine cone — about the same size as him.
He squashed one more insect and replied to the giant pine cone.
“It’s a pretty hot, sunny-looking nice day, isn’t it?”
The giant pine cone answered like a breaking news anchor:
“I agree, I agree. However, I have questions. Did you kill those bugs?”
Alex spoke in a voice as calm and gentle as the Virgin Mary’s:
“Yes, I did it. Look, my fingers. It’s very wet and sticky.”
The giant pine cone began to scold.
“Alex DeLarge, stand up and look into my eyes.”
Alex tried, but he couldn’t find the eyes.
The giant pine cone resumed his lecture.
“Mia Wallace. Lebowski.
This is your family — your sweet family.
Now, watch this.”
Alex swallowed nervously. The giant pine cone started to shake like a cocktail in a bartender’s shaker. Alex saw a very bright light. Giant pinecone stopped shaking and whispered to Alex.
“Look under the tree, it’s Mia Wallace and Lebowski’s heads. I took it for you. What a nice guy. Now, did you understand what you have done?”
Alex is now a very sad and lonely guy, he answered.
“What a polite insult for me. Am I next?”
Alex saw a bright light again, but this time was special. The giant pine cone vanished into haze. He’s not there anymore.
Alex feels something weird to his body.
He told himself.
“Can you believe it? I’m a Bug now.”
When he finished saying this, something squashed his body. Now he’s dead. That was random kid’s shoes.
“Hey pine cone. I saw what you have done.”
Giant Pine Cone looked up. There is a Giant Pine Tree. Giant Pine Tree spoke to Giant Pine Cone like his mother.
“You killed three humans. That’s why you were once a god.”
