Taipei Bridge Stories

### 🇺🇸 English|Illustration for My Second Story
Thank you for reading Taipei Bridge Stories!
I'm happy to share a new illustration for my second essay-style story:
"Southbound Through Taipei at Night"
This story was inspired by an actual scooter ride through Taipei on the evening of October 8, 2026.
The journey begins at Zhongshan North Road and Jinzhou Street, continues south past the Taipei Main Station area, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and Roosevelt Road, and eventually reaches Xindian District in New Taipei City.
Taipei has a very different atmosphere after dark.
Streetlights, scooters waiting at intersections, illuminated storefronts, and people heading home all form part of everyday life in Taiwan.
Even after living here for many years, I still discover something new in these ordinary scenes.
With this illustration, I wanted to capture the quiet beauty and lively atmosphere of Taipei at night.
While my first story, "Taipei Bridge After the Rain," focused on a morning commute, this second work explores the same city after sunset.
The story is presented in Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and English.
I hope you enjoy both the illustration and the story!
The real nighttime scooter ride that inspired this work is also featured on my YouTube channel:

Note: The illustration is an artistic interpretation of the story's atmosphere, rather than an exact reproduction of the actual route or scenery.
