第18話 The Crisis of Overlapping Worlds
1. The First Signs of Collapse
Kazumitsu felt it before he saw it—
a subtle distortion in the air,
like two breaths trying to occupy the same space.
The Sixth Principle Universe trembled.
Its shifting landscapes flickered,
momentarily revealing fragments of other worlds:
• the rising pillars of A
• the vertical lines of I
• the dark ocean of U
• the shimmering threads of E
• the circular horizon of O
• the silent void of N
They were bleeding into one another.
Kazumitsu whispered:
“The boundaries… they’re dissolving.”
2. Worlds That Should Never Touch
A mountain from the world of A
rose suddenly in the middle of the Sixth Universe—
only to be sliced vertically
by a line from the world of I.
Moments later,
a wave from U crashed through it,
followed by a burst of relational threads from E
that tangled themselves around the debris.
The circular light of O
tried to contain the chaos,
but even it began to warp.
Kazumitsu realized:
“If these worlds overlap completely,
the multiverse will lose its structure.”
Without structure,
existence itself would unravel.
3. The Multiverse in Panic
Across all universes,
beings—human and non‑human,
physical and non‑physical—
felt the disturbance.
Dreams became unstable.
Memories shifted.
Identities blurred.
Some worlds experienced
two different histories at once.
Others found their time loops
intersecting with timelines
that should have been impossible.
The multiverse cried out
in a chorus of fear:
“We are losing ourselves.”
4. The Law of Overlap
A voice rose from the collapsing horizon—
the unified voice of all universes:
“When a new principle is born,
the old principles must rearrange.
But they cannot rearrange
without guidance.”
Kazumitsu felt the truth strike him.
He had introduced a new direction—
the principle of transition—
but he had not yet shown the multiverse
how to integrate it.
The worlds were trying to evolve
without a map.
And evolution without direction
was chaos.
5. The Mirror of Consequences Returns
The mirror from the Ethics of Creation
appeared again—
but this time,
it showed not possible futures,
but possible collapses.
Kazumitsu saw:
• a universe where A and U merged,
creating infinite expansion and infinite descent
in a single moment
• a universe where I fractured into countless identities
unable to stabilize
• a universe where E’s connections
tangled into a web so dense
that no individual could exist
• a universe where O’s cycles
accelerated until time burned out
• a universe where N consumed everything
before anything could form
Kazumitsu felt his breath tighten.
“If I do nothing,
all worlds will fall into contradiction.”
6. The Multiverse Demands an Answer
The universes spoke again—
not in harmony this time,
but in desperation:
“You created the sixth principle.
Now show us how to live with it.”
Kazumitsu felt the weight
of countless worlds pressing on him.
He had not asked for this role.
He had not sought power.
He had only followed the path
the universe had opened.
But now the multiverse
was looking to him
as its guide.
7. The Decision That Cannot Be Avoided
The Sixth Universe formed a doorway—
but unlike before,
this one was unstable,
flickering between shapes:
• a circle
• a line
• a spiral
• a void
• a wave
It was the doorway
to the integration point—
the place where all principles
could be brought into harmony.
The voice of the new sound
spoke softly:
“If you enter,
you will change the multiverse forever.
If you refuse,
the multiverse will collapse.”
Kazumitsu closed his eyes.
He felt the expansion of A,
the clarity of I,
the depth of U,
the connection of E,
the completion of O,
the dissolution of N,
and the transformation of the sixth sound
all vibrating within him.
He whispered:
“I will enter.”
And he stepped into the doorway
as the multiverse held its breath.
