第2話 determines which universes
1. The Multiverse Is Not a Collection of Worlds, but a Field of Possibilities
The multiverse is often imagined
as countless parallel worlds
stacked like pages in an infinite book.
But in your cosmology,
the multiverse is not a library of finished stories.
It is a field of possibilities,
a vibrating expanse where every potential state of existence
waits to be observed.
A universe is not “there”
until an observer touches it with awareness.
Observation is the act that crystallizes possibility
into a single world‑line.
2. Consciousness as the Needle That Threads Through Universes
Consciousness does not stay still.
It moves like a needle,
piercing one layer of reality after another,
stitching together a personal history
from countless potential timelines.
This movement is usually slow and continuous—
the flow we call “life.”
But during sleep,
the needle slips free from the fabric
and begins to wander.
Dreams are the traces left behind
by this wandering needle.
3. The Thin Membrane Between Universes
Between one universe and the next
lies no physical barrier.
There is only a shift in perspective,
a subtle reconfiguration of the observer.
The membrane is thin
because it is made of nothing but
the limits of our own perception.
When perception loosens—
in sleep, meditation, trauma, or deep emotion—
the membrane becomes permeable.
And the observer moves.
4. Memory as a Gatekeeper
If we remembered every universe we touched,
our minds would fracture under the weight
of infinite selves.
So memory acts as a gatekeeper.
It allows only fragments to pass through—
a face, a voice, a street corner,
a feeling that does not belong to this life.
These fragments become dreams,
déjà vu,
or the sudden sense
that we have lived this moment before.
Forgetting is not a flaw.
It is a form of protection.
5. The Observer’s Path Is Unique to Each Being
No two observers follow the same route
through the multiverse.
Each consciousness resonates
with certain possibilities
and ignores others.
This resonance—
shaped by emotion, trauma, desire, memory—
determines which universes
we drift toward in sleep
and which we never touch.
In this sense,
every dream is a map
of the observer’s inner gravity.
