When I was a college student, one of my classmates bought a written oracle at a shrine.

Unfortunately, it said he would be extremely unlucky. He was so depressed and went back to his apartment.

That night, he couldn’t sleep well.

Suddenly, around midnight, he heard something strange outside his door.

It was the faint singing voices of children.

He opened the door, but nobody was there.

A cold shiver ran down his spine.

The frightening event was repeated every midnight after that.

He believed it was caused by evil spirits.

So he went to a shrine, bought many protective charms, and put them all over his front door to keep the spirits away.

After that, the strange singing voices stopped.

He felt so relieved and was finally able to sleep peacefully.

But a few days later, the apartment owner came to check the building.

When he saw so many charms pasted on the door, he was shocked.

Thinking it looked strange, he removed them all.

Needless to say, the spirits came back again to bother the poor student…

すると、真夜中ごろ、部屋のドアの外から奇妙な音が聞こえてきたのです。

ドアを開けても、そこには誰もいません。

背筋に冷たいものが走りました。

その恐ろしい出来事は、それから毎晩真夜中に繰り返されました。

彼は「悪霊の仕業だ」と信じました。

そこで神社へ行き、多くのお札を買って、玄関のドア一面に貼り付けたのです。

すると、あの奇妙な歌声は聞こえなくなりました。

彼は安心し、ようやく安眠できるようになりました。

ところが数日後、アパートの大家が建物を見回りに来ました。

ドアにびっしりと貼られたお札を見て仰天。

「見た目が異常だ」と思い、全部はがしてしまいました。

言うまでもなく、悪霊は再び現れ、かわいそうな学生を悩ませ続けたのです……。
