Well, as i put in the introduction, i mostly found this novel to be a funny read.
As to why, well, the girls are a mess, in a realistic way for their ages, which i mostly found endearing.
The sister thing and family situation weren't touched much.
To be blunt, i think it's better that way, considering the main appeal this novel has is the romantic comedy aspect.
Focusing on their relationship rather than their surroundings was good for that objective.
It would be cool if any of your next novels did go into more mature genres or situations though. Maybe that's just me, i'm more into that than comedy after all.
Oh, i edit because i forgot, oops. The last part of the story's direction was unexpected. It was interesting though.
