  • Ok. I think your idea using pressure point as an premise is so cool XD.

My japanese is not that good but I can speak chinese and I know that you must be put a lot of effort in researching acupunture or acupressure that kind of stuff. This is a brilliant idea. But I have one concern, just one. Context. I mean who talking to who?

I don't know why, but in Indonesian/English I used to be putting character name like: "Itadakimasu," I said slowly. "This is our last meal."

    But not in Japan.

I ask AI and it said that in Japan everyone know who is talking to who based on his/her kanji character. Like boku/ore/watashi, etc.

I think it is a naruhodo moment to me. I don't said it is a bad thing, I think it is a cultural clash to me. That is absolutely mindblowing🤯.

I’m really happy to hear from you!

Yes, that’s right. I live in Japan, and I’m licensed in acupuncture and massage. I work as an acupuncture and massage practitioner.

I’m writing this story because I wanted to use “pressure points” as a theme and share some of the appeal of acupuncture.
Of course, I also love anime, manga, and light novels 😆

I’ve also looked a little into how novels are written in English-speaking countries, and yes, it seems quite different.

I learned that dialogue is written with quotation marks like “this” instead of the Japanese 「」 style.
It’s really interesting how the context and writing conventions change depending on the country.

But honestly, Japanese is a pretty troublesome language even among languages 😆

  • Hi! It is an absolute joy to see english novel in this platform :D. I will put this novel into my collection, I really hope we can share a thought about storytelling in this platform.

I’m really happy to hear that!

I created this English version because I wanted people in the English-speaking world to be able to enjoy the original story, which was written in Japanese.

I heard that some English-speaking readers visit Japanese novel sites and read stories using translation apps. But with direct translation, the nuance can change, and the story may become harder to read.

That made me wonder: instead of a literal translation, what if I used generative AI to rewrite the story as an English version? That is what led me to start posting this version.

However, I’m not very good at English myself, so I’m honestly not sure how well everything is coming across. I would be very happy if you enjoy it.

Thank you, and I hope you’ll continue to enjoy the story 🙏
