To preface, I do not speak or read Japanese. I had to use machine translation in order to read this story and to translate this review, so please forgive any mistakes I make in writing this. I originally saw the cover art for the second light novel and was intrigued by it, but as there is no official translation yet I came to this website to read the original source. Near the beginning of the story I was somewhat concerned by the thoughts and actions of the main character, but I soon realized that he really is a good person, and in fact is a very realistic kind of hero. I can relate to a lot of his concerns and flaws, but despite these flaws he still continues to work hard and become a better person. Compared to a protagonist without issues, I feel more inspired by this protagonist who is imperfect but never fully gives up. I was incredibly moved by reading this story, and hope that one day the light novel is officially published in English so I can purchase it.
