Perhaps its time for drama and challenges to test the relationship of Sayu and Yoshida. The past episodes were too sweet that their relationship may feel too foregranted or unrealistic. Though Sayu and Yoshida's trip is about to end, I do hope you become creative with the two people that Yoshida is not expecting to be present in their trip.

Also, Sayu and Yoshida must do a memory in this trip that can be photographed. Just so their relationship has a milestone to remember. Other than having sex of course lol. On a serious note, the photographs of special moments are reference to Yoshida's afterthoughts in the ending that its the memories shared that makes relationships special.

I think its not a bad idea for Yoshida to even pick up photography as a hobby. It would be nice if Sayu pushes his towards photography so that Yoshida becomes amazed that he grows from Sayu despite being older than her lol.

I do hope the sidestories will stay only as light novels. The sidestories being adapted to manga will ruin the hard work of Adachi Imaru-sensei in adapting the original story and its beautiful ending.

The production team must realize that it is not wise to spend money to recreate the selfishness of the author that many fans hated. Let higehiro gracefully end with the manga ending for everyone to properly enjoy.

When you wake up, watching your lover sleeping restfully besides you is the true happiness. Perhaps this could happen more often just to see how Sayu's perspective has changed as an adult who pretty much has everything she wanted. I feel a bit uncomfortable that it was written that Sayu's real goal was not to be Yoshida's lover but to be a proper adult. It kinda gives burden to Yoshida to be able to choose her with conviction. The excitement of both the main characters, or Sayu at least, can be felt with the amount of content to be unpacked in this chapter. Seeing the simplicity of Sayu's happiness rekindles her innocence. As for Yoshida, I guess his attachment to the idea of being happy together with Sayu is finally growing on him www. He still deserved to break down and cry in Vol 5 Ch 13 for failing to realize the importance of Sayu to him (・`ω´・)

On an objective note, correct me if I am wrong but does this chapter involves two different scenarios? that is, the search for a new apartment, and Yoshida and Hashimoto chatting over on a lunch break? If so, perhaps placing some form of indicator that there is a change of scenes will be helpful for next time. For example, the LN usually uses asterisks to (*) indicate that scene 1 has jumped to scene 2.

Also, I am now lost on the time periods of the story. I dont know which chapters are flashbacks and which chapters are ongoing at the present because of the change in the apartment (＠_＠).

Though I dont think it is going to be a good idea to start a conflict in the story arising from the position of Issa as president if it involves Sayu and Yoshida. I think that position has no major contribution to the story. I feel that Issa as a character is someone who has good intentions but always loses control of things he did because of the circumstances. I do hope you consider this perspective.

How can Yoshida forget that Issa was forced to be president as he wondered why someone that young is in such a high position wwwww.

Although living alone is relaxing, illness will make you feel lonely and helpness. I had that experience during corona virus, that is a very, very terrible experience, so I'm very jealous to yoshida! And I'm looking forward to more heartwarming scenes of sayu and yoshida living together (and erotic scenes www).

Recently, I read Ao and Yoshida's final date in each stories again and recalled the small detail that Yoshida had an attachment to the idea of him being happy together with Sayu during the cohabitation. I do hope this small detail would be used along the way in this flashback chapter. Kind of like Yoshida having a happier vibe on him after Sayu moves in I guess.

As to who pays for Sayu's education, I'm guessing its Issa www. In Vol 5, the intention of Sayu's mother after the dispute is vague. So I don't think she would care that much if Sayu and Yoshida officially becomes a couple.

I think it would be helpful that you sort the whole timeline in order in the first episode in the next chapter. This could help for future readers who may get confused because you started with the present then went for a flashback chapter.

So much possibilities to happen from this episode. I'm glad you are tinkering with the idea of exploring Yoshida's personal life. Though it is a challenge because he doesn't have a first name to start and if I remember correctly from Vol 4, Yoshida's father is stubborn with righteousness as well.

Also, I'm happy Issa makes his appearance in this story. I really think he deserves more than just being a chauffeur for Sayu and Yoshida lol. Issa is kind of a tragic character as someone who only has good intentions but always loses control over the things he has done. I am curious as to how you will tinker with his character or maybe even add a character related to Issa.

Yoshida is really weak www. When sayu come back and see this scene, she will be very very frightened, she almost lost her beloved one...(It's just a cold!)

Goto really apologized to sayu, which makes me feel a little surprised www. As "a mother in Tokyo", I think Goto is too strict to sayu, especially when Goto was a high school runaway in the past. If Goto can show more understanding to sayu, I may feel better to her.

The chapter is similar to Gotou's flashback chapter in Vol 4. I'm glad that this chapter is not a copy of that but only a reference.

Sayu in the lapse of two years has outgrown Gotou because she acted to fulfill her promise of return for the person she truly loved. Perhaps the only reason Sayu still has respect for Gotou is because of her lesson of going back home getting what you want from the journey.

Anyway, Im glad Gotou is no longer going to make much trouble for the main couple. This could've been a better way to close Gotou's main role in the original story than just being used as a fanservice bait which resulted to a disaster that the production is impliedly trying to make the fans forget wwwww.

吉田の前であれだけの失言をした後藤さんとは思えないほど立派な謝罪と振る舞いでした！後藤さんの醜い部分に対して沙優がちゃんと「最低ですね」と言えたのも二人にとって大きな一歩だなと思いました！

In higehiro, every time yoshida talk about goto, his eye is always just on her large breast, which makes me feel that he doesn't love her, he just want to have sex with her. All the yoshida&goto relationship is related to sex, no emotions, no memories, nothing. And this is also why I like yoshida&sayu relationship. Because yoshida want to be with sayu, they are part of each other's life. Yoshida want to watch sayu's growth and want to help her be a better person. And at the same time, yoshida want himself to become a better person because of sayu. This is the true precious realtionship, the mixture of souls and will definately last long.

I'm glad you did not make the break-up scene occur in a Yakiniku restaurant again because it would have been similar to Kanda-san. The restaurant is starting to look bad because of all the sad things happening there w.

Shimesaba-sensei made Yoshida a weak man in Vol 2 sidestory just so its ending can happen. Very different from the original Yoshida we know and loved in Vol 5 who realized whom he truly loves and decided to face the future together with.

Yoshida being weak is shown more when he had to be rejected by one girl just so he can have a sense of direction. Shimesaba-sensei did say that he hated Yoshida in the あとがき section. Its a disrespect to the fans (＃`Д´).

Only Vol 1 sidestory is stated to be not what if on X.

Vol 2 sidestory is not stated to be not what if on X. Vol 2 also says in the あとがき section that Sayu and Yoshida's story ended in Vol 5 and Mishima's story ended in her sidestory. We read higehiro for the obvious main characters.

The idea that it is Sayu and Yoshida ending up together forever as they face the future in Vol 5 and the idea that Vol 2 sidestory is the only ending in higehiro are both opinions, the importance of each depends on the reader. The opinion that has more value is obvious if you choose the original story (￣へ￣)

The scene when yoshida drink sayu's miso soup reminds me of the end of volumn 5. In that scene yoshida realized how big the weight sayu holds in his heart, but it was to late to tell her. I'm very happy this time yoshida could tell sayu his true feeling, not because of moral, justice or gentle, but because of love. I believe not just miso soup, but also the smell of the shirt, the marshmallow and firework, the smile, the hug, everyday's ohayo and tadaima, these so many things have become a part of yoshida.

本編5巻13話「生活」により、
沙優と別れ、東京に戻った吉田さんの辛さや苦しみ、読者の私に共感します。
「どうして素直に自分の気持ち言えないの？」「大切なものは失ってから気付くよ」
そういう話、吉田さんに伝えたい。

特に原作本編5巻、沙優と再会した後、「もっと素直になれ」を期待していますが、
また聖人を演じることに酔っていたのががっかりします。
所詮、今までは原作の後藤愛依梨・下巻の「真エンド」を認められなかった。

『......そりゃレシピ通りに作っても美味くならないわけだ。隠し味に作る側の人間の気持ちがこもってるんだからな』
『やっぱり沙優の作る飯がこの世で一番美味いよ』
やっと吉田さんは素直に自分の気持ち言えました。スッキリした！
せんと先生、原作本編の伏線回収は見事でした。大変満足しています。

次回を期待しています。

吉田を一人で送り出すのは沙優にとって内心すごく心配でしょうね……。
あの人の方も一体何が描写されるのか。

次回のお話がすごく気になります！

On the fanfic side, I really thought Sayu would have grown in cup size after two years www.

On a serious note, Im glad you are starting the flashback on Vol 5 and not on the sidestories. The flashback feels more faithful to the original series 88888.

Im confident that you will do great in the following chapters because it is written as Yoshida choosing Sayu :)

第五章を経てこの三人の自然な距離感がより尊く感じられるようになりました。
沙優が二人に自分の過去を打ち明けたアニメ九話っぽい感じがしますね。今回の語り手は沙優ではなく吉田ですが。

人は親になった時に子に対して結局は自分の親と同じ愛情の注ぎ方をしてしまうと聞いたことがあります。沙優が娘に対して惜しげなく愛情を注いでいる様子から、家出中の沙優が吉田から与えてもらった父親代わりの愛情の大きさやJKやり直しから卒業までの間に母親と関係が改善して愛情を注いでもらえたんじゃないかな等と想像が膨らみました。

第６章期待してます！

Reminding people of the anniversary of Gotou sidestory 2nd volume feels a bit odd when you consider that Gotou sidestory 2nd volume has a disclaimer that Sayu and Yoshida's story has long ended in the original 5 volumes www.

Anyway, a view of the future of the story is an interesting change of pace though I can't imagine whether the family has settled in Tokyo or Hokkaido. Though I am intrigued how this series will go on considering that it jumped timelines but is still consistent with the spirit of the story.

Asami having genuine feelings for Yoshida was a surprise. She did say that Yoshida was good at giving advices in Each Stories. At least its more of a realization on the part of Asami, not an infatuation that is reactive to Sayu.

前回は残り一話で本当に収拾がつくのだろうかというラストでしたが、これでもかというほどスッキリした気持ちのいい話でした！

親の洗脳に反発して自分の大切な夢を守ったあさみが、今度はドロドロした展開になりそうな物語の流れにも反発して二人との大切な友情を守ったのが格好良すぎてあさみ最高です！

そんなあさみを見たからこそ、逆に後藤さんは最初から最後まで神様や物語に流されっぱなしだったなと改めて思いました。棚ぼたというか。
外伝の最後の方で家から出てきた吉田と沙優に出くわした時、あんな悲劇のヒロインみたいムーブされたら沙優の告白の結果が逆だったとしても後味が悪すぎなんですよね。あそこを読んだ時、恩人の一人であることは分かるけど、頼むから沙優にせめて一発は後藤さんを引っ叩かせてあげてくれと願いました⋯⋯！

神様に対して今回だけは許してやる。その代わり入賞させろ。結城あさみをなめんなって格好良すぎてもう好きになるしかない！とても良い爽やかな締めの第5章でした！

This chapter really reminds me of mishima. Poor mishima. Asami's emotion is love, or something else? I'm really looking forward to it.
Besides, I don't have a breast fetish, but I think sayu's breast is the most beautiful breast(?), especially the shape. So I'm also very interested in how yoshida praises Sayu's breasts. A ss will help me a lot!(⁠☆⁠▽⁠☆⁠)

あさみは吉田さんのことが好きですよね。

原作の本編三巻14話で、三島の気持ちと同じなんです。
片思い相手は他の人とイチャイチャしたら、嫉妬してしまいます。
彼女は息苦しい、早くこの場所から出て行きたがります。
一番の親友としては、諦めるしかなかったでしょう。

あさみの心の葛藤を描き、読めば読むほど夢中になってしまいます。
せんと先生、本当に素晴らしいです。
次回も期待しています。

August 1st was 'おっぱいの日', is this a coincidence www? I also want to feel sayu's oppai so I'm very jealous. But asami is sayu's best friend, and two girls touching each other's oppai is really a healing scene(?), so I specially allow asami to touch sayu's oppai. Asami, please try your best to feel sayu's oppai and write the feeling in your novel, because I'm very curious.

あさみに胸を揉みしだかれる沙優がえちえちすぎました！背後を取られた沙優がこの後自力で脱出できたのか気になります。肉付きは良いと明言されているので少なくとも沙優はめちゃくちゃ非力というわけではなさそうですが、あさみの方が力が上だった場合はあさみが満足するまで揉みしだかれることになるのかなとw

なんにせよご馳走様でした！

『どれだけ作り手側が手の込んだ設定や奇抜な物語を展開させて も、読む側が理解できなければ面白いともつまらないとも感情を宿してくれない。』
　これがすごく同感しました。

　原作の設定について、沙優と吉田さんの出会いは運命です。
　奇抜な物語を展開させても、読者はどんどんはまっています。
　正編の最後、沙優は東京に戻って、吉田さんに再会しました。
　
　発売前、後藤愛依梨・下巻の予告イラストを見ると、
　『やっと二人が結ばれるか、めでたしめでたし。』
　なのに、原作者はどう思う？
　読む側（特に沙優の恋を応援する人）に最悪のエンドを用意されました。

　幸いなことに、せんと先生の作品はもう一つの可能性を示します。
　それは「本当の幸せを手に入れるエンド」（後藤さんを除く）
　今回の沙優とあさみのように、笑顔で楽しい時間を過ごしたのは最高です。

　次回を期待しています。

I like filler chapters like this. This setup was never explored in each stories that much. Though, please don't make too much of this. The story still has to progress www.

吉田に手作りチョコを渡すことについての怒涛の理論武装は小説家志望のあさみらしくて面白かったですw

この部分が特にぶっ刺さりました。後藤下巻……。
あさみにはお似合いの二人をちゃんと幸せにしてあげられる素敵な小説家になってほしいと思いました。

Asami is a bad girl www. Sayu will be jealous but I believe in yoshida. Besides, don't you think yoshida is too welcomed by woman? In the beginning of higehiro I thought yoshida was a 'classic' unwelcomed salaryman www.

Sayu seems happy is really great. After all, Asami has been continuously supporting Sayu for two years, she must feels a lot. Besides, "だとしたら、それはいつか絶対私の元にだって", is it a foreshadowing? I'm really looking forword to this.

Re-using the futon for more content in this story is a wonderful idea. I like the idea of Sayu jealous on kitchen attire www.

Telling a chapter of the story from Asami's perspective is a refreshing change to the story. Even in the original series, there are only few chapters told from Asami's perspective with Sayu.

Aggressive sayu is invincible and I was beaten in an instant! Besides, if my browsing history is seen, I might suicide www.

最近は無敵モードだった沙優にまだ唯一噛み付いてくる力を持っているのが吉田に残る後藤さんの残り香なんですね。

AVの新しい順での購入履歴の表示が後藤さんから沙優のことを考えてのものに移り変わっていったように、ラストの沙優からの怒涛の性癖暴露ラッシュで吉田の頭の中も沙優一色に塗り替えられていったことでしょう！まあ塗り替えるどころかパンクしてそうな気もしますがw

それから購入履歴は新しい順での表示だったことで、以前沙優のためにAVでセックスの研究をしていたことがまさかこういう形で助けてくれるとは思いませんでした。最新が女上司ものだったらちょっとヤバかったと思います。

家出少女を題材とした本編では閉じた世界での話だった分、旅行を計画する二人がとても自由に感じました。

I can't wait for the Hokkaido chapter. I want to see how Yoshida in a sense fits into Sayu's family and friends in Hokkaido. Also, I want to see how Hokkaido will shape Sayu and Yoshida's idea of a family when they reflect on the Ogiwara household.

Also, I can't wait how the new short stories will fit your story. Playing Kuji from overseas is very expensive so I will just take your word that the short stories are good. I do hope that the new short stories has nothing to do with the Gotou and Mishima sidestories. Those sidestories are just too different from the original story. I personally don't even consider the ending in those sidestories valuable because the author admitted that the original ending is Sayu and Yoshida's story in the five original volumes www. Also Vol 5 is written as the Final for higehiro in the west.

I do hope you stay true to the flavor of the original story that it is now Sayu and Yoshida's story and their decision to face the future together.

沙優は吉田のために、愛情を込めて料理を作りました。吉田は沙優のために、タバコをやめて、将来車の免許取るつもりでしょう。(多分、こっそりね)

I really like the atmosphere of Sayu and yoshida chatting while cooking, it makes me feel very warm. 今日、後藤さんのアナザーサイドまた、読み返してました。やっぱり、少し間を開けて読んでも、それらしく書いてあるけど、別の世界の話しでした。アナザーストーリーと言うだけの事はある。
そう思います。架空の人物だとしても、ありえないほど、痛い吉田と後藤さん。
さゆが、大人になってるのはいいけど、大人と言うより、中年レベルの大人。悟りすぎ。もし、ああいう風に見せてるなら、さゆに、我慢させ過ぎで、酷い話し。
少し時間開ければ、良さが解るかなと、読みましたが。
やっぱり、これはひげひろじゃない、何かだと思ってしまいました。
花火の話し好きです。原作では、吉田がさゆを、女として見ていた感じがしました。
こう言う風に書いてもらえると、本当に嬉しくなります。素敵な話しでした。
