I know it probably depends on the character of the person and the situation, but it wouldn't be surprising if, in the heat of the moment, she'd get a good punch back. Do you want to hit someone? This is an interesting point. In my country, addressing each other by name is an absolute norm. If you need formal treatment, or respectful treatment of adults or strangers, you should use your first name and patronymic, or "You".
But I think there's something wrong with Ayano. Does she have problems with personality development? She doesn't understand the obvious things, which are quite easy to begin to realize at the age of 5-7 years. It is simply impossible to be friends with everyone, and it is not necessary.
And where were the adults looking all the time? Doesn't anyone see her problems?

日本で名前呼びは親しい仲じゃないとなかなかしませんね（人による？） クラスメイトですら基本的には苗字で呼ぶことが多いです。たくさんのラブコメ作品がある中で、主人公とヒロインが初めて名前を呼んで照れるシーンがあるのは、それだけ二人の仲が縮まった描写になるからでしょう。こういうご指摘をいただけると国ごとの違いを知れて楽しいですね（勉強になった）
綾乃さんはご指摘の通り問題を抱えている女の子です。みんなの当たり前が自分の当たり前として捉えられない。数は少ないですが人との距離感が全然わからない人がいるようです（フィクションで誇張しているとこがありますが）
それに大人目線だと割と気づかれにくいタイプでもあります。傍から見れば笑顔でみんなと仲良くしようとしている女の子ですからね。明らかにいじめがあったり暴力的でなければ注目されません（協調性がないのにあると思われてるタイプ）
この辺りも国によるのでしょうが、日本は子どもと大人の距離が遠いのかもしれませんね。少ないとは思いますが放任主義とか言って子供に関わろうとしない親もいますから（たぶん極少数）

I remember when I first started reading this story, it seemed to me that our main character (Sano) was cunning and treacherous. That's why I didn't want to read anymore, because I was new to the genres of Japanese short stories, and I didn't really like stories in the genre where the hero's girlfriend is stolen from him. And so, after lying on the shelf for a little over a year, I come back to this story. After reading hundreds of different stories (including about the Year Akio, ehehe) I'd love to see this stupid childhood friend lose his red-haired treasure. Serves you right, silly friend. May the one who waited patiently, worked hard, and was true to his feelings and goals win. Come on, Sano, good luck! I've come to see how you'll get your hands on her. Ahaha.
