### Review
A short but genuinely enjoyable romcom built around a simple misunderstanding that somehow works perfectly. The premise is hilarious: Ichinose is in love with his plain-looking childhood friend, while asking a beautiful black-haired girl at his part-time job for advice about her. Meanwhile, the girl is also seeking advice from him about the childhood friend she likes. The twist? **They are the same two people and neither of them realizes it because they only know each other in different contexts.**
The story doesn't drag the misunderstanding out for hundreds of chapters, which I really appreciated. In just ten episodes, it delivers plenty of cute, awkward, and funny moments before finally revealing the truth. Episode 10 is especially satisfying because both characters slowly realize that they have basically been confessing their feelings to each other the entire time.
The romance is sweet and wholesome, and Yanase's embarrassment during the reveal is adorable. The ending is straightforward and predictable, but that is exactly what makes it satisfying.
If you're looking for a **short, fluffy childhood-friend romcom with mutual pining, misunderstandings, and a quick payoff**, this is definitely worth reading. It won't reinvent the genre, but it knows exactly what kind of story it wants to be and delivers it well.
**Rating: 8/10.**
